Fail to stop collision in Swallownest

Police now want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may hold information about the collision.

Roads Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a reported fail to stop collision earlier this month.

At around 1.45am on Saturday 25 March, emergency services were called to reports of a collision on Sheffield Road in Swallownest.

It is understood that a woman in her 30s got out of a taxi on Sheffield Road shortly after 1.30am and was involved in a collision with a vehicle. This vehicle did not stop at the scene.

The woman was found lying in the road and suffered serious injuries.
